MPG on 5.4 V8?

Hello,

How many miles to the gallon can I expect to get if I get a 2008 5.4 V8, I will also put some bigger tires on it with a 4" lift?

My over all mileage is around 12.5, the HP rating of 300hp is way optimistic. Buy a V10 if you want a gas engine and probably won't get any worse mileage.

I have the 5.4 3.73 rearend 4x4 crew cab w 20"wheels. With 1500 miles I am getting 13.6 mpg mixed driving. I wished I would have gotten the V-10. The 5.4 does not seem to have enough power to move this size truck. The 4.10 rearend may have been better but its mine now. Other than that , I love this truck.

I have the 4.10 rear. 11 local driving, 13.5 on a road trip if I keep it under
70 mph. 8 mpg when towing 6000 lb. camper.
