Finally got hold of my new F250 PSD. At first I was not so impressed.
Compared to my similar 2005 (see sig) you can definitely feel the cost-cutting efforts. Fit and finish is mediocre as always. Even not having measured I am sure the turning radius is larger compared to the 05. Anyone can confirm this?
After driving a few 100 miles I felt in love with the engine. Not so much power than the old 6.0 with the VanAaken but it does ok and is QUIET
According to the meter fuel economy is just a bit lower than the 6.0.
Tailgate-step is great and the rear camera is absolutely perfect. I never thought that this little thing is such a damn good help.
Navigation is nice as well.
No single word about design and colors
One strange thing is that the display of the climate control unit goes off when the wipers are turned on. This also happens with my 05. Seems that this is a very special feature Ford built in for us
