Picked up new V10 today

Picked up my new F350 Crew Cab SWR LWB 4X4 KR V10 today. Traded 08 6.4 Super Cab for it. This truck is nice. Better acceleration than 6.4 and alot quieter. The 6.4 was much quieter than my old 7.3 but the V10 is silent. Happy I made the switch .

The V-10 in the Super Duty is the engine of choice these days and will be for a long time. Great power and decent mileage for 3/4-1 ton truck, with a long history of dependability. With 80cents to over $1.00 difference per gallon in fuel cost, What's not to like!!

Yeah, just what Pappy said! The downside of the V10, very little quality time at the Ford house, not involved with the Ford, and IH soap opera, no crying over the diesel prices, poor fuel quality, regeneration events, and the cash you have left over for gas etc from not paying for the diesel option.

New truck

Picked up a new truck this week, found it on a dealer lot, it is a job 3 and has a build date in Feb. Traded in my 6.0, see signature. Much quieter, and a little less painful at the gas pump.

V10

The V10 is the only way to go in my opinion ever since they took away the 7.3, which was the best diesel on the market.

picked up new V10

I am about to pick up my new V10 F350 W/430 rearend. I too had a V10 (03 F250 that I traded ) and was very impressed with the power and how quite they ran for such a big truck. My new one is Lariat Dually loaded to nines.. I can't wait to take her for a spin.

Man, what a long way we have come. I remember when Diesel was $0.80 cheaper than gas, and we were getting better mileage from them too... Isn't it true that diesel is a sort of "waste" product of refining gas? If that is the case, how can they justify selling it so high?
