My only problem with the truck so far is MPG, will this truck get better as the engine gets broke in. Best i've got so far is 14.0 MPG, but thats what computer says. Is the computer in these trucks pretty accurate. Will hand calculate next tank. Also, who is a good aftermarket company who sells heavy duty front bumpers, that would hold a winch?

You didn't say what setup it was, CC/SB, RC/LB 4x4 4x2, 3.73s or 4.10s. 14 doesn't sound bad to me. My F-150 only got 14.5 so I'd say that's respectable.
I like Ranch Hand and Fab Fours bumpers.
Once I pull the trigger on my new 2011 I'll be adding the Fab Fours front and rear bumpers. I'm not a big fan of the bars all the way up (bumper w/ brush guard). I like just the lower bumper replacement to be truthful.
Oh, its a F250 4x4 Crew Cab 5 speed automatic 3.73 gearing. Hauled my tractor which weighs 5000 lbs to the Massey dealer, truck did fine. I'm hoping the truck will at least get 16 HWY.
I got 16.4 mpg hwy yesterday, not to bad, truck now has 2200 miles on it and everything is getting better. Would yall go ahead and change the oil now or wait until 5000 miles?
I have the same truck as you except 08. I would change the oil now and I change mine every 3000. I have always used Ford Synthetic Blend 5w-20 from Walmart. Its the cheapest price I have found. I drive at least 150 miles a day usually with 500 lbs +/- in the bed and tow maybe every other mth. The most I have pulled is either a Cat 257 Rubber track loader or a Cat 302.5 execavator. Like you say, it pulled it , but started real slow and milage was still 8-9 mpg, but the tow command works great, even pulling in the snow. I have put on a Flowmaster Exhaust and Air Raid filter with really no improvement in mpg, but my dogs can hear me coming way before I get home. My milage has always been 14.1- 14.9 since I put on Nitto Terra Grapplers, stock size. I was getting 15 + with the origional Goodyears( 54,000 on first set) and checked the brakes at 75,000 and still had 1/2 pad left on origional pads. The only problem I have ever had was the blend door and the hvac system. I sometimes wish I had gotten the V-10 but for what I do, this has been the right truck for me. I sure do miss the power of the diesels I used to have , but I sure don't miss having my truck in the shop every other week and I have owned at least 20 diesels 7.3's 6.0's and one Duramax. The only diesels that haven't let me down are the Iszuzs in my lawn maintenance trucks. I own a landscaping company and we run F-250's ,350's, 450's,550's and L8000's.
my company truck is a 2010 f350 reg cab flatbed 5.4 auto gears unknown as of right now. i carry 400 gallons of liquid in an alumium tank on the flatbed. its an 2wd xl model and the gauges say 8.3- 8.7 all the time. it runs ok for a little v8 i guess. i have 11k on it and ive been driving it for 7 weeks now
