Transfer flow fuel tank

Im looking at replacing my small 30 gal tank with their 45 gallon midship tank. Has anyone done this? I'm concerned about the DTE computer not being correct. I need more towing range but an in bed tank is out as I need the space. I don't want to spend the $1000 and have the computer keep tellin me every 10 miles I'm almost empty when I still have 100 miles to go. They do not have a program and have said they never had any complaints. I just want to make sure.

I'm not sure that your DTE will ever be correct once you change your stock tank. The right people to ask is Transferflow. Ben at Transferflow is extremely helpful and he'll be able to answer your question for sure. Why not give him a call?

BTW, I have the Transferflow combo fuel tank and toolbox. My truck only tells me what's in my main tank.

Did mine at Transferflow. Got about 60 Gal I think. All fine, no problems. They also will recalibrate the sensor.
