Is there any way to disable the hellish chime that sounds with no seatbelt, lights on, keys in ignition? We're in and out of the frigging thing, and with most other vehicles one can pull the key out an 1/8 of an inch or so and quiet the chime, no so with this Ford.
It sounds like it comes from near the headlight switch...

Unless the 08's have changed, there is a proceedure in your owners manual to disable the seatbelt chime. It's a PITA to do but well worth it. As far as the headlight chime, I am not aware of how to do this one but thats the one I wanted to keep anyways, and it has been used a few times

It's the same on the 08. It won't turn off the seat belt chime when you first put the key in the ignition but it does turn off the seat belt reminder. If you're not good at rubbing your tummy and patting your head you can have a tech disable it on the computer.
If you read my above post you will have an on/off switch for your chimes and interior/bed lights.
