what oil are you using?

whats everyone using in their gasser? synthetic, regular, what brand? am i interperting it correctly from the manual that u can use either one, or should i only use synthetic? i have always used non-synthetic pennsoil in my fords. thanks!

I just got mine so I haven't decided yet. I'll most likely buy the Motorcraft 5w-20 from Wally World. Don't hold me to this, but I believe it is a semi-synthetic. I've seen many people singing the praises of Mobil 1. It's probably a great oil. If you have had good luck with Pennzoil, then I don't see any reason why you shouldn't continue using it.

morotrcraft 5w-20 at wally world is more likely semi-synthetic. Ford does make a full synthetic but, i believe that you can only buy it at the dealer. motorcraft 5w-20 is a good oil and i will probably switch back to it because it is cheaper than the mobil 1 that I am currently using.

All 5w-20 oil (regardless of brand) is semi-synthetic at the least. They can't get that viscosity without synthetic additives. Lloyd
