Alaskan Greetings!

Greetings all ,
Been building and playing with Bronco's for years, through a happy accident I am now focusing my attention on diesels. Picked up a 86 and 85 f250 and am in process of rebuilding another 6.9 monster motor. Also one of my soon to be projects is to find an 78/79 Bronco and swap a 6.9 into it. Already gleaned a ton of information off this site and don't know why it took me this long to join. Look forward to reading about everyones toys!

Jacob

Welcome,

I don't know much about the non-powerstroke diesels, but I'm sure there are a few guys up here who do.

Norman Vaughn's old truck, eh? If the truck is as tough as he was, it'll be a good one.

Vaughns truck

That old rig is a beast, kept the copies of the original title and reg just so I had proof. Runs like a million bucks, looks a little worse for wear but considering restoring it to original just for the heck of it.

Yup, Diesels work in AK. I bought my 88 F-250/7.3 while I lived in Anchorage and Peters creek.
I also had a little D-50 Diesel that's still up there somewhere.

I miss AK and I miss my Diesels.
