greetings from Cen. Cal.

greetings and salutations,
leftcoastjeff here,
I own a 87 F250 and am interested in learning more about wrenching
on my own beast. Done plenty wrenching on gas motors.
Some troubleshooting tips would be helpful. perhaps warnings.
I don't expect to turn the old truck into a race machine.
I will also be running WVO eventually.......
Comments and questions welcome as well.

this seems to be a very large forum!

Many thanks,
Jeff

Greetings

I reside in Monterey, where the smoke is so thick nobody notices the smoke from my old truck.
Ashes fall from the sky like snow, the fires are less than 30 miles from us!

Hey Kess ,

What part of Paso? My dad lives on the border of Paso and Creston (his house actually has an address in each town..one for mail and one for utilities). My uncle also owns/operates a vineyard and winery out in Templeton. Beautiful area...I might be thinking of moving down there when I retire in about 12 yrs.

Oh, and in response to the original post in this threat. Best thing you can do is just take some time and just read through these forums. Just about every topic is discussed at one point or another and if you need help with something, just post a question and you'll probably get multiple responses with a bunch of good info.

LCjeff - I work in Soledad, so I know exactly what you mean about the smoke. I'm not as close to the fires as you are but it is still very smokey.

By the way if you need any help with anything moving your belongings or evacuating re-building fence or anything just ask. I'm in your neck of the woods so ta speek, so if you do need anything just PM me your # and I'll holler at ya.

KKCM-

I am just off of Creston Road and Charolias road, right on the way to your pops. Beautiful area to live. Fresh air (when there are no darn fires), not to hot and not to cold. When you get serious about comming down PM me and I'll buy my fellow Deuce Five O brother a cold one (your choice beer or soda).
