Hello to all, My name is Mike, I live in Ft. Bridger, WY and have recently joined the Powerstroke family.
I got a deal as far as I'm concerned on my 2000 F250 EXcab LB SD 4x4 with a 7.3L Stroke.
I got it for FREE..... That's right FREE..
The company I work for had 11 trucks that were either wrecked or broke down and considered not worth repairing..
Well I was responsable for getting rid of these trucks... I got rid of mine right into my driveway.....
What's wrong with mine you ask...... It needs a clutch and a bath inside and out...
That's it, it has 237,000 on it they changed the injectors within the last 20,000 miles, new glow plugs in december, new tires last month, new High pressure oil pump last month.. it still runs great.
Just needs a clutch but they have had enough of it and wanted it gone.
I sent a '03 that had a blown 6.0L to the crusher today, it had a straight body and a nothing else but a blown engine.... CRUSHED
along with a '01 F250 7.3 that was wrapped around a guard rail, a 98 7.3 reg. cab.. needed a clutch....both CRUSHED..
But I saved mine. It has a bench seat in it (it's an XL) and a Vynal mat, no electric windows or locks, and a straight am/fm radio in it now.... But...
The one that was wrapped around a guard rail was an XLT loaded with the 40/20/40 seat CD/Tape/am/fm power windows and locks, sliding and tinted rear window all of which I now have for this truck...all FREE...
Wow what a B-day present... a little work and some TLC and i got the truck I always wanted....

wow man congrats, it took me 2 years of searching and $15000 (after taxes and such) to get my dream truck. throw that clutch in, change the interior and let her run!

Drove her home today. was able to put it in low and start it only had two stop signs to go through to get home and worked out perfect I was able to go through both of those with out stopping...
