I'm not sure how much heat you'll get, it'll probably depend on how much guff you give everyone else... but regardless, nice ride!

His Ford is not a Super Duty, sounds like an early 90s IDI. Anyway, at least he owns a Ford and it will probably take quite a bit of money to give that IDI some power. U most likely wont get anywhere near the Duramax power with it, but u can increase it some. Welcome to the site

Thanks guys, I am not looking for major power, just more than it has now, which is basically none.....it is a 94 IDI non turbo 7.3, I just bought it as a work/drive when the roads are too ****ty for a new truck, truck. I am going to put 6" lift springs and probably around the 35" range tires which will decrease the power that much more.....what are some basic power mods if any for these trucks? I would imagine getting rid of the cat would help some? I don't want to dump a buttload of money into it so a turbo is probably out of the question unless I can find a used one cheap....are there adjustments to the injectors that I can do? The guy I bought it from did not know anything about it, I know I need to get the timing dialed in, it pings pretty bad first thing in the morning when it is cold, and it smokes like an SOB...anyways, appreciate the welcomes and any info you guys can give.

Welcome to TheDieselStop

Scroll on down to the IDI forums and post your questions there. That's where the guys with similar trucks will be hanging out. I'm sure they'll be happy to help you out with suggestions.
