swap out of gas to diesel
I have been wrenching on cars on the side for the last 35+ yrs. I have found that an engine swap is a big project if you are changing displacement or auto to stick etc. A change from gas to diesel is a HUGE project. First of all is the front suspenion heavy enough to handle the weight of a diesel engine? also all the fuel issues such as tanks, delivery. then there is the motor mounts. How much time and money do you want to spend? I suppose that given enough time and money you could do it. If you are doing a frame off restoration then it might not be as hard. Good luck and if you do it take lots of photos and post them.
