New Member Introductions & Forum AssistanceIf you are new to the site, please stop in to say "hello" and tell us a bit about yourself. For members having a hard time with a forum feature, this is the place to find answers and ask questions.
On the old site I could go to a forum, go to a particular post, and read into the threads. I could go one page in or many pages in but when I hit the index it would go right back to the post where I started. How is that done on this site?
Best, Buck
When I finish reading a thread, I scroll down to the bottom of the thread and click on the "forum jump" button. If I want to stay in the same forum, then I don't change the forum inside the Forum Jump window - just click on "go". But if I'm through with that forum and want to move on, then click on the little down-arrow button next to the name of the forum, change forums to the one I want to visit next, then click on "go".
If you know you want to stay in the same forum, then scroll up to the top of the thread and notice the tiny Superduty truck on the top-left corner - with an arrow pointing to the title of the current topic. In that string on the right side of that truck will be the underlined forum title. Click on that forum title and you'll go back to the same place in the index you started from. Or put your cursor on that little truck and you'll see the pop-up "Go Back". So click on that "Go Back" button to go back to the forum index.
