Howdy, Need a few 1985 ford E350 KN turbo diesel pointers from RKI's
Hi all, I have a nice 85 e350 6.9 with 50k mi (really) aftermarket turbo (K-N) and the traditional low stock gauge oil pressure readings. After about an hour or two on the hiway, the boost gauge intermittantly jumps from 1 to 5 and the engine speeds up/surges. I am new to diesel passenger vehicles so ANY input on what to do or consider before taking it to a shop would be a help. The vehicle was very well maintained before I got it. Otherwise I have 86 ford 1600, 04 4wd cub cadet, and a 4wd iseki diesel tractors and an mep003a diesel genset as well as an 88 Interrnational ford diesel box truck. ANY biodiesel types here?
