Howdy from North Carolina

Hey guys, I'm Grant. I just bought a 2000 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 Lariat SWB Powerstroke...

It's my first diesel... and my first Ford for that matter (always been a Chevy guy).

Is there a FAQ somewhere out there about these trucks with common problems/mods and what-not? I really don't have much idea about anything and I'm here to learn a little bit from yall if I can.

I bought the truck with a superchips programmer... those any good? Other than that it's pretty much completely stock.

It has a slight boost leak right now, though it isn't throwing up a CEL but it is storing low boost codes in the CPU. (I bought it for a little over 2 grand under private party blue book value so it's got a few small things I need to address)

It's got pretty small tires on it right now (I think they're 245's). They're Wrangler MT/Rs which I had a while back when I was driving an 89 K5 Blazer... great tires. Just a little too small. Anybody have any tires/sizes they would recommend? The primary use of this truck will be driving up and down the highway in addition to daily use to/from work and some boat hauling every now and then and also hauling my gator all over the state during hunting season.

Welp, thanks for havin' me fellas. I hope you don't hate on me too much for my former Chevy days!
