I haul cement for a living , but also own/ operate a very small diesel shop called TWISTED DIESEL PERFORMANCE here in N.E. Iowa, I am a dodge/cummins guy thru and thru!, more or less for the cummins engine, The 12-valve I am pretty familiar with!lol, I am however selling my current 98 dodge 2500,black 4x4 sport, which I loved dearly, I have owned a Crapload of Cummins trucks, and this one is by far my favorite!, as it is what I looked for, forever!, now, sadly it must go down the road, as my family isnt getting any smaller, as I have 3 kids, 10, 8, and 5, and we take the truck EVERYWHERE!!!!,my folkes live 1 1/2hour east of me, and we go down to the farm quite often for hunting, splitting wood, and taking our quads/dirtbikes down for riding, so the truck gets alot of use!, I NEED SOMETHING BIGGER!!!!
now, I grew up a ford boy, but when the cummins first come into play in 89, I changed flavors, an didnt look back, Dont get me wrong, you all know, the dodge has its good sides, but has alot more bad!, Its the cummins, that keeps me in a dodge, not the goats head!LOL
thats where you guys come in, I have opted to get my butt back into a 99+ superduty, and I have looked at a few, im diggin! I will more then likely buy one, and drive it for a short time till its paid for, and then actually shoehorn a 12-valve into it, as it is getting a little more common, and I have been doing tons of reading up on it, dont get me wrong guys, yah, I give the powerstroke a bad rap, simply becuase Im a dodge guy,I have heard and seen both good and bad. but overall you'll have to agree, there are some of you who, if would buy in a heart beat,- a superduty with a cummins from the factory, Am I right???, dont throw stones now!LOL who knows, maybe with my newfound learning experience on this site, I will decide to keep the PS in in and sell the cummins engine.......LOL, thats it, thanks for listening to my bio!, and hope to lend a helping hand when I can, as long as you guys arent to harsh on a cumminslover!lol
