just got my first diesel

I picked up a 2002 F350 with 90K on the odometer. It's white with a big red stripe because it came from a fire department.

I hope to learn a lot about this rig from this forum.

Congrats on your truck. There is a lot to be learned and you can get a lot of good information on this site. Most of it can be found by searching previous posts. If you have a more specific problem you can post your own thread to get help.

I would suggest updating your "signature" with some info on your truck.
(i.e. 2002 F350 and be specific - Auto or manual tranny, Single Rear Wheel or DRW, how many miles, etc.) This way, the guys that answer most of the technical questions an give you an answer specific to YOUR truck.

Also, add your location under name because some answers can change due to location. Meaning hot or cold climate. Sea-level, hills, or moutain driving. Dry area wet area. You get the picture.

BIGGEST piece of advice....Keep the oil changed in it. Your truck will last longer and like you better.
