New member from Md. First diesel.

Hi! I haven't taken delivery of my truck yet, so I'm here to ask a few questions. The truck has the 7.3l power stroke power plant. I heard from a few friends that the 7.3 is the way to go & that the engines ran trouble free. The truck that I'm getting is a 2003 crew cab, Lariat, 4X4 with 156,000 miles. Is there anything that I should be looking out for with that many miles. I've been looking around for a while & have seen more than a few 7.3's with over 300k, which eases my mind picking one up with 156k. I haven't driven the truck yet, so I'd like to know what I should look out for & feel for while driving? What places should I look under the hood & under the entire truck? The seller sent me a couple pictures from the underside & it looked moist around the oil pan. Is that something common, or is that a sign that would make you walk away & look for something else? I appreciate any & all advice! This is going to be my 1st diesel.
