New to site, second thread.

What's up folks?

Already made my first thread with my first questions down in "General Diesel". I'm a Ford and Dodge fan myself. There's a bit of both in the family.

In case you didn't read my novel down there, my father and I do some side jobs of field and brush mowing, tilling, some landscaping with some home equipment. He's full-time fire dept., bout to retire, and I work for the cable company, local drag strip, and a few internet sites.

We bought a 2000 Ford F-350 CC/dually XLT Lariat new, and have loved it since. It was kind of the family vehicle then, now it's more of the work truck, sad to say. It deserves a better life being a Lariat. Well equipped with an AeroTurbine exhaust, K&N, Superchips, chipped, Air Ride Tech front end, Link Mfg suspension rear, air ride 5th wheel, Oasis air comp., tool box's, billet grill, etc, etc, etc

Hence the next truck on the list. About to purchase a 1990 International 4600. It'll be replacing a 1956 International S-130 dually that's equipped with a 10-foot dump bed, 222 I-6 with a 4-speed granny tranny. This old bessie has been in the family since before I was born, so there's some sentimental value, but the company we're buying the 4600 from is giving is more than we ever thought we'd get for the 130. So the 4600 will be an upgrade from every respect.

Not my daily, but my toy is an '03 RC/SB Ram Sport HEMI equipped. Spend some time on her, being the Kansas Chapter President of HemiTruckClub.com. Yeah, not the most efficient engine in the world, but def. hits home for me. Just somethin' about a HEMI. Dad drive's an SRT-8 daily, and mom has an R/T, so it flows in the blood at times, lol.

Well anyway, look forward to more time on the site. Have a lot of questions about the 4600, and also sharing what I know and learn.

Hears to looking ahead!
