subscribing to a thread

Whenever I make a post in an existing thread, it automatically subscribes me to that thread. Problem is it doesn't give me email notification. The only way I can get email notification is to unsubscribe from the thread, then re subscribe to it, and choose "instant email notification" from the drop down. Is there a way I can have all my subscribed threads automatically enable email notification?

Thanks, Brian

If you go to your account and look on the right side for "EDIT OPTIONS" then you can navigate to the second section and look for "thread subscription mode". When your choice has been made be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and "SAVE CHANGES"
