Would like to search.

Although I am new to this site I find it diffucult to search my problems. I cannot believe that everything I search is not available. I have put in 5 and 7 word search and told I do not have the proper terms or enough words. What am I doing wrong. I have searched other sites and my problems always seem to have been experienced before??????

This site went thru a software conversion back in January, and before the conversion (from UBB threads), the consesus was that the search function was execrable. Unfortunately, the search function isn't all that great with Vbulletin either. That being said, try fewer search terms. Also the words have to be at least 3 letters (recently changed IIRC to allow searches on common acronyms that we use a lot here, such as CPS, IPR, IDM, etc.)

Have you tried the advanced search? That may be able to be hammered in to the shape you need.

Hope that helps.

If nothing else, just post your problem in the appropriate forum and see if someone has had a similar experience and can help you out. There's a wealth of technical knowledge among the membership, and most are willing to help.
