I installed an F5 in my truck this weekend that I got from DP Tuner, along with a 4 gauge pod from ITP with Pyro, Boost, Trans Temp and the gauge-style switch. I emailed DP with what I use the truck for, what I was thinking of getting on the chip and they emailed me back with what they would suggest for tunes and order of loading them on the chip. Great customer service. I think I went from order to chip in hand in 3-4 days.
Install of the DP tuner was straightforward, no surprises, and nothing too hard. Not counting the gauge install, it took me maybe 30 minutes to install, and 20 of them was looking for the bolt I dropped in the driveway.
I got it programmed as such:
0-No Start
1-Stock
2-40hp Tow, no codes
3-DECEL (EBPV used as engine brake)
4-60hp Tow, no codes
5-80hp Econo, no codes
I started it in stock, let it idle for a couple minutes, and then checked idle in all positions except DECEL. The idle sounds stock on Tow, but econo sounds "better"
I took it for a slow ride around the base in stock to check the gauges were working, then headed out the main gate to test is properly. (was tempted to take it down the runway, but we have a slight deer problem at night out there).
I had it in 80 econo, and once the truck was warmed up, I punched it coming out the gate. Below was my response.

I then took my buddy for a ride, who has a Duramax Chevy. His reply: "Please tell me they make one of these for my truck"
It works great! Now if only I can keep my foot out of the "happy pedal" to get the mileage benefits
