Gauges necessary?

I have a 7.3 PSD and I just ordered the F5 through ITP. I ordered economy and light tow tunes. I'm pretty gentle on the truck, and pull no more than 7000 pounds at present. Is it necessary to have the aftermarket gauges installed to use the F5?

Gauges are the cheapest insurance you can buy for our trucks. I can not, not recommended them. They are a must have of any modification you can do to your truck.
