What will I need

I have an early 99 with an XLE4 computer. I would like to chip my truck since I will be pulling my new to me toy. 22ft SeaHawk. We plan on taking it off shore to do some fishing. So I'm looking for some more power. What will I need to do.

thanks
Fred

Suggestion on what to do first will be..

Gauges for monitoring engine compartment
Intake for better airflow
Better Exhaust to help lower Egt's

What most get is 4-5 positions (even though our chip can holds 16 programs) That is just how our manufacture made it for us.

Stock- It's free and you can use it for when you let someone borrow your truck.
40tow- for towing that Seahawk
80 Econo-DD tune
120 hp Race.-for play

Some get hi-idle for faster warm up in winter and a colder AC in summer. Also used when using a winch or other power equipment. Anything else is really up to you.
