Got my CPR+ fuel system . . .mmm beefy.

Got it last week. Don't even ask when I'll get the time to install it.

The picture below is exactly what you get and how it is shipped.

I tried taking individual pictures, but I can't use the flash or it washes everything out, and not using the flash makes the exposure too long and I get blurry pictures.

I can try again with the flash if people want some pictures of something specific.

What you get that you don't know you'll get--a high pressure crossover line.

You will need a/c disconnect tools for the fuel lines (not included).

The pump/filter ship assembled and ready to go, so does the DAHL 150 and return fuel cooler.

All the hoses, if they screw on, are finger tight, if they need to be clamped, they're clamped tight and ready to be installed.

Unfortunately for me, I don't have a driveway, so putting my truck up on jackstands for a weekend isn't really an option. I may have to have it done at my local performance place.

Now for my questions--

The fuel cooler. Does it have a thermostat in it that prevents flow if it is too cold? Who would need cooler fuel during December in Pennsylvania anyhow.

Halfway installed as of this afternoon. My mechanic was pretty impressed with the parts I provided and the kit as a whole.

Seperator/cooler are on, fuel tank is done. Guy is taking a little longer than I would like.

That cooler/seperator really hang down low. It is maybe an inch higher than the bottom of the tank.

I may have to come up with a skidplate of some kind just for my piece of mind.

Can't wait to see the finished result.

Reefer, are you going to keep running WVO with this system? I've got the same kit and love it! Would love to start running WVO, but I'm too lazy to collet it.

WMO, not WVO, and yes. Assuming I get it back today, I plan on filling it up tomorrow after work, otherwise, because of way to many reasons to list here, I'll have to wait until Tuesday.

Installed.

Drove around for about an hour tonight.

Initial observations--not very difficult to get to over 3,000rpms. It shoots right up.

Idle is different. Not sure how to describe it, it sounds maybe a bit choppy? I can feel a pulsing in the brake pedal. If I hold the supply fuel line or the regulator supply line, I can feel the pulsing in it in tune with the engine.

After I drove to the store, I wanted to see how hot the fuel cooler got. I was surprised how warm it actually gets since the fuel is really only passing through the engine if it isn't used.

Between the install and the cost of the kit, it killed my budget for any future mods for a while, but this fuel system will support a sick truck.

Pictures to follow this weekend.

Yep youll love it!!!! I have mine set at 60 lbs and with the hybrids I can barely get the needle off 60 going down a pulling track!! Even after taking injectors out a turn of the key and air is pushed right thru.
