Naval Academy

My son was appointed to the United States Naval Academy class of 2012. We are very proud of him. I had posted this in the other section and it got deleted, so I think it is appropriate here.

Obviously I know and congrats too!
On a similar note my son is leaving for the Naval Academy Summer Seminar (NASS) in late may and maybe we can meet up Tom, I'll be there June 6th to pick him up.

BTW, we had dinner with the CNO (Chief of Naval Operations) last week and my son got to meet him. Admiral Gary Roughead also presented him with his personal coin. I'll post a picture here in a day or two.

That is great news John. I really hope that my son can help or otherwise provide some valuable information for your son. If your son gets an appointment, I WILL guarantee, that he will get first hand information on what is facing him in his plebe year. I will make sure of that. He will get an "insider" perspective on what he is facing.
