Thought I would share my concerns /disappointments. I'm not sure if this was the best post to place it.
I was recalled back to active duty July 1 2009. I work for a unit that supports the Coast Guard units working in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
My units main mission is shipping supplies to these units. To date. We have shipped "1" care package. There are about 1200 Costies deployed just for Iraqi Freedom. Its hard to believe there aren't more families and friends thinking of there loved ones this time of year.

I can't wait to get out of here and get home so I can start working on my project diesel! Thanks for putting up with me and all of my questions, I just have a short amount of time to get my truck back up and running and I have a lot of stuff to do. (30 days for an intire engine and tranny overhaul)

My daily driver is a M1151 HMMWV, desert sand in color, runs on JP8.
My personal diesel? '97 F-350 5-spd, Pyro and boost gauges, Banks intercooler, Banks turbo housing, exhaust, Banks chip. Dual remote by-pass oil filter. Now I am ready to get serious- new build will have new chip, new turbo, big injectors, big oil, big fuel, coolant filter, big lift, big tires, rear disc conversion.... getting rid of the Banks stuff.
My oldest son just got back (Dec. 1) from a 6 month deployment on the USS San Jaun and earned his dolphins. I never miss the chance to tell him how proud of him we are. My hat is off to ANY service person!!
