Senix, I am new to the site and new to Diesel trucks. I have a 2009 f-250, 6.4l I noticed you use the Banks tuner and was considering purchasing the same for myself. Could you please tell me your thoughts on the Banks along with a CAI. I didn't plan on doing anything else just yet, too afraid of voiding my 100,000 mile warr. How did the Banks improve your MPG?
Hey Senix, I've seen your name all over this site, actually, you've helped me out a few times. I just noticed on another site, if you are also this Senix, that you're from Frederick, MD. I use to live in Brunswick, and the outskirts of Frederick. Just moved across the bridges to Charlestown. Not that any of this is important or anything, i just made the connection. Hope all is well.
You have a nice looking 5th wheel, how does it handle in high winds or winding passes in mountains? I'm pretty much in the same situation with a 350 SRW and am curious how it'd handle a 5th wheel.
Senix, what type of bumper/off road bar is that on the front of your truck? I have tried to find anything that will protect the front of the engine at a decent price(that actually would stop a deer from destroying my truck and drinking from my oil filter). I like the look. Thanks
hey, you need to upload some pics of that 5er and how it sets on your truck. Ive never seen anyone pull a 40 footer with a 250. I guess the triple axle helps with tongue weight, but I have a 36'(actually 37') 5er, dry at 11k that squats my 03 250 alot more than yours. I know that the 08's had a little more to work with as far as GVWR...
Thanks for the advice. As you know Im new to diesels so what is an egr? I also noticed the rust . Is this a major concern and if it is what should I do? I do appreciate the time you've taken to answer this.
I didn't want to give the dealer free publicity yet but you can check it out at Lenzauto.com. white F350 stock nu 18846. If you know (why is the (!) light) on the information center?
