We saw your post from 2010 regarding 331 RE with great gpm. We are sitting on the edge of 331vs355 in ordering new truck (350, Crew, LWB, SRW, 4x4). We occasionally pull 30' 5th wheel and often pull gooseneck for horses. Are you still happy with your 331 choice and what kind of gpm are you getting now? Thanks for any help you can provide. Sally

Thom, please let us know where you get with ford and a buy back or replacement. I wrote Misery love company post and I share in your saga. My truck has 4k miles on it and has rode like crap since day one. Only difference is that no ford dealer will admit it. I took it to independant mechanic certified and he confirmed it has a serious problem. I am frustrated beyond belief. Please keep sharing. I'd like to share vin#'s.

My onboard air is a 12volt system. works great for everything I have used it for so far. Yes I installed it myself, mounted it under the passenger side of the cab, lots of room up in there.

Hello I noticed you have a vanaire compressor on your truck. Is it Pto os self driven? hoe do you like it? I'm looking at almost the same thing. Did you install it yourself?
