Hi, I'm a newer member and am having the same issue, in the thread you stated, "Are you getting 12 volts at the fss with the key on and while cranking? Ford used a different part of the ignition switch to supply power to the fss during cranking. It could be a $9 part instead of the IP. " on 07-10-2010, 02:37 AM Here is the thread link -

I am having the same issue, as just before your post, the fuel gets to the IP but does not go further. What is the "fss" you mentioned?

When I jump the forward connection on the IP with the positive on the battery, it does click. Do I test this same place while cranking?

    Thank you. 1984 F250 6.9 diesel.

    Hey Joe,

I read your reply regarding sticking brakes and was just wondering if I can get some expert opinion from you?

I have disc brakes and just changed my rear calipers and pads but cannot reverse now. My parking brakes work when engaged. However, I can't push my car in reverse in neutral or park. Any idea what it might be?

    Thank you.
