I was wondering how you clean your engine. Mine is filthy and saw a picture of your awhile back and would like mine to be as clean as yours.

    Hi
I just bought my 1st super duty similar to yours mines manual sorry my typin might be off from iPad. Anyway I rebuilt mine from salvage this year , when I received it, 4x4 wasent in but it was saying 4x4 for 100 miles or so then went off. The truck seems slow still with slight hum F/r ( hit side) hub or 4x4. What's the easiest way for me too test or troubleshoot if that hit side hub not disingaging or something damaged. The F drive shaft not spinning in motion I can't tell if the hubs are.
Also what are my best bang for $ mods and parts I need.
Really slow rite now with trailer I don't like towing it's that slow. 175000m runs awesome no leaks

hey there! really need your help! 1995 7.3. you posted something about the hpop having a ball valve, spring, seat.... I replaced my hpop a few days ago just to find out it is still draining back. then I found your post about the check valve that sits in block! only talked to about 100 desiel mechanics and not a single one knew this even existed! well, i ran with what you said in the post and of course the ball and spring come out without a problem what so ever. now, i have spent the last 8 hours trying every way possible to remove the seat. what am i doing wrong that it will NOT come out?
    THANK YOU!

I agree about the rear sag issue, I hate to see truck higher in the front than in the rear, but my 2" nose down bothers me also, and I don't haul much very often anyways. If it did, I'd probably install air-bags....that way I could run level all of the time.

AS for the WMO...most people on here are running waste motor oil that they get for free with a 15 RUG (regular unlead gas) mix and calling in W85...so they end up with almost no cost in the fuel other than their time spent filtering the oil. It sounds very scare.....but there are a lot of people on here that claim to have been doing it for a couple of years and up to 40,000 miles....with no ill side affects.

I just noticed yours was actually a 350, mine is a 250...that may be part of it. Mine has also had a heavy brushguard on it since new (that the previous owner put on it). Everyone on the forum talks bad about leveling kits unless you buy one with a track bar, what are your thoughts on that? I was either going to do a 2" shackel lift or a 2" mini spring pack.

Also.....what are your thoughts on WMO?

There's so many different opinions about all of this on this forum it's hard to know what to think.

Do you have any type of levelling kit on there....my truck sits 2" lower in the front than in the rear (measured at the top of the fender opening above the tire. Yours looks level.

What type of lift and what tire size are you running? I have the exact same truck except no lift/stock tire size...I really like how yours looks. Also, what type of fender flares are those? I saw the pic with your slide in camper.....do you run an air bag system for that?

    Thanks

Hey bud, been away working awhile. I was wondering if you would have the stock stereo wiring diagram for my 02 . I have a manual, but the diagram doesnt completely match what my plug has. I need to put in my new sony system, and can't find the left speaker wires, as the colours are different on my diagram than on the plug itself.
