From one ex-Marine to another. Read some of your posts on this forum & clearly see that you know your stuff. Hopefully you can shed some light on my 30 day nightmare. A month ago my 2001, 7.3 Powerstroke F-350 dumped a couple gallons of oil on the ground when left to warm up, then stalled. Removed Oil cooler, changed the O-rings and replaced all fluids. Cranked & cranked then finally started. Ran rough for a minute then stalled again. The rusty oil cooler tube blew a hole and leaked out another gallon of oil. The remaining oil was mixed with anti-freeze. Drained all fluids again and replaced with another oil cooler unit. Same results, truck would not start. Added about a quart of oil to the HPOP reservoir. Cranked & cranked & cranked, finally started, ran very rough, and stalled within a minute. Drained out a quart of oil....... &#@%!!! ANTIFREEZE IN THE OIL AGAIN. This truck has 120,000 miles, it ran like a top. Just can't figure this one out. Thanks and Semper-Fi... Bill in Michigan
