You mentioned in a post regarding tach wires on a 2000 excursion. After installing, I am unable to program the tach recognition. After verifying connectivity, the manual claims that the voltage should be between 1&6vac at idle. My readings, both at the firewall and the in-dash tach are around 10 mVAC and it builds appropriately with engaging the accelerator. Is this level of voltage common? I am forced to use the signal bc I have a diesel which is required by the remote starter. Should there be a different signal with higher voltage?
Thanks in advance,
