Lemon law at 5 years? Lemon laws are all predicated on loss of service time or number of repairs or some combination of those. the qualified defect has to occur within new car bumper to bumper period or the law defined time period. Depending on the state, the LL may not apply if vehicle is over 10,000 pounds GVW or if it is commercial.
The warranty is a contract and it is limited to stated terms. If they didn't want to offer goodwill with it being 3 months past warranty then there is no legal recourse. The only thing as a consumer that is within your power is to relay the issue to the public in non-slanderous way and to not buy another Fomoco vehicle.
