Quick followup. Best $96 I've ever spent on the truck! Seat is firm, not too firm and feels like I'm sitting an inch higher although probably not that much. Received the seat foam 2 days after ordering at site I listed above. Genuine Motocraft part. The new foam is black instead of the old yellow foam and I assume better quality and definitely firmer and better support. Took me 2 hrs start to finish with no problems. Internet videos led me thru the process, had to buy a T55 star/torx bit to remove the seats and some hog ring pliers and hog rings. I found some at Murdochs near me but the upholstery versions on the internet would be more appropriate.
Thanks for the help here! Never occurred to me that I could still get a new Motorcraft seat foam.
