AWESOME dealer experience

My significant other has a 2015 F350 CC Max Tow pkg truck that we bought used a few weeks back. The horse business requires a 6 horse trailer and the new one is 18K + loaded. She was in Denver area and the truck ran hot with a message and then a de-rate. Got truck to side of lane but not out of road due to a hill and little more than idle. The truck cooled before a truck n trailer capable tow service could get it and the truck was driven to Autonation Ford of Littleton as they said they would try to help when other dealers were saying they couldn't touch it for several days.
They kept truck in service lane to keep horses in trailer in the shade and got on it and replaced the failed fan clutch in an hour. Lunch was even provided as they were feeding the techs that day.
What a great experience and everyone was courteous

KUDOS! And a nice new looking dealership facility as well. There are many considerations one must make when scheduling work and even when dispatching which I do as part of my job. There have been plenty of times people from out of state passing through the Garden State had their trucks dragged in and I made room, made the time, it's what you do for another human being who really needs a hand at the right time. I don't know how anybody could say no to people in a situation like that and not at least attempt to help them out. Thank you for sharing your experience! It's a pleasant change from the dealer bashing that is prevalent in many of the public forums. AND I like the care they took for your precious cargo.

Great story, thanks for sharing it.

All four of my SD's in the past were bought 2 1/2 hours from home and taken back there for service due to a great dealership... it can make or break the vehicle ownership experience.

Thanks from me too. And yes the dealership bashing runs rampant here and other 6.9/7.3 IDI forums from clowns who wouldn't last a day in any quality dealership.
