A dubious honor! When I was at Ft Bliss (El Paso, TX) in the 1990's, pickups of any stripe were prone to suddenly disappear. The top of the lines models seemed to be especially targeted. A buddy had his F150 stolen from from on FT Bliss proper.

Saw that on the news last night. With the fancy security alarm systems on the new pickups nowadays I asked a cop a while back how thieves defeat them and he really didn't know. He thought maybe they have a way of over-riding the system electronically.

These trucks are easier to get into than a drunk sorority girl.

Yeah, dubious honor for sure. Been few reports here (over time) about their truck being stolen. Has the "steering wheel club" been defeated yet? Saw another report about somekinda electronic device thieves using to gain access.

Can you buy the "boot"? Used by traffic enforcement (meter maids) Apparently dosen't allow you to drive off. Anyhow, thieves are watching/waiting for a chance to rip you/me off. Just gotta make it harder for them.

FWIW...Maybe it can be defeated? But... on fmc for no alarm/pats on my 03 XLT PSD. Previous 99 "XL" F250 had pats/alarm & truck cost less.

If a thief see's a vehicle he want's to steel, like at a mall. Most shoppers use there remote to open/unlock the vehicle, the thief has a electronic recorder of some sort that grabs the signal. Later he can use that to open/unlock that vehicle. Even garage door opener signals can be grabbed that way. Good Lord, they even have recorders that can scan and grab those credit cards that you just pass over a scanner, even when it's in your pocket/billfold, that's why there selling a metal container for the cards. Thieves will always find a way to outsmart any security device. Isn't electronics great? How about SIM cards in your cell phone? They can hack into them too, be carefull on what you say, no credit card numbers, bank account numbers, etc.

the Superduty has been the "new favorite" for years. Rates aren't changing, lol

My Rates for my SuperDuty or F150 or Raptor are almost identical with same coverages. Seems like its the same no matter what you drive.
