** Needs some Texas help **

looking for someone to confirm something for me...... a clear close-up picture PM'd or e-mailed to me would be great if you find it.

There is a company down in the Dallas/Fort Worth/? area called Aviall that is doing some hiring. I hear they have billboards around town that says something like "hiring 60,000 (or 6,000) in 2009"........ can anyone confirm that, or send me a picture, link or ?

Thanks guys..... -Rich

I try to stay away from the Metroplex area, but a quick browse on the web turned up Aviall: click here for Aviall

Then click on "about Aviall" and you learn:

"Aviall, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, ...

Aviall is headquarted in Dallas, Texas. As one of the world's largest providers of new aviation parts and related aftermarket operations, Aviall markets and distributes products for more than 225 manufacturers and offers approximately 1,000,000 catalog items from 39 customer service centers located in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific...."

SmokeyWren.....

yeah, I seen that on the web. I was mainly looking for a billboard somewhere around the Dallas area that Aviall was anouncing that they were hiring a large qnty of people in 2009.....

Someone in their travels from up here (seattle area) thought they seen it down there and so I was looking to see if it actually was an advertisment.

I passed thru the Dallas/Fort Worth area on I-20 last week, but I don't pay much attention to billboards, so I didn't notice it.

But did you notice the "careers" button on the Aviall website? Click on that and you'll see numerous jobs they are recruiting for in Dallas as well as at big airports around the country.

Being from Houston, I used to say that quite often!

Of course, if it'll get me back home to Texas, I might just consider FW.
