Yeah try working in an all diesel shop with sick trucks coming in and out all day in a 40 bay shop in the early days. Yeah get the bay by the door.

Quite taken back that someone would comment on how it's funny how people " get cancer and die" and it is probably due to their I.Q. ( certainly lower than the poster)while trying to shelter and feed their family. This person also writes back in posts to anybody who complains about a hack or a tech they view as a hack, and then posts how it's not right because,,,, whatever reason but it's viewed as a shot against all dealer techs. Oh and it will clean up the gene pool so,,,,

I am outrageously offended as a human being.

Today on the roads I saw one guy (in a lifted Cummins) roll coal intentionally on others in traffic and then 5 minutes later a guy in a lifted Jeep kept accelerating right up the bumper of a car in front of him who he felt was going to slow. The car in front was a 60+ year old woman with a Golden Retriever in back.

I think both of these instances were clear examples of driver aggression and both actions could be dangerous.

Personally, I support traffic laws and enforcement that keep roads safe and I don't figure any of us diesel drivers want to see future legislation that removes our emission exemptions as a result of gassers, cyclists and pedestrians getting angry at knuckleheads rolling coal.

A few years ago I saw some study that said frequent diesel exhaust inhalation (such as truck drivers in the study) were commonly overweight. Lol
I'm thinking more from fast food and sitting in a truck all day.

Maybe huffing exhaust gives you the munchies LOL.

I grew up with lead based paint and gasoline. Trucks trains and buses billowing clouds of smoke and brown skies. As I grow older, I am glad to see blue when I look up.

0 have died from pot smoke fact? Not true at all ! Plus I was joking around that POT polluted more on CAPE than diesel considered everyone has a Prius here. If anybody purposely smokes anything what's the difference with a diesel I don't support rolling coal but diesel do smoke and if it happens for 5 secs on accel who cares? That's what I'm saying. U guys get so worked up for smoke really but pollution is everywhere and everyone does it somehow. Go tell a smoker to stop smoking or shut the whole of China down, stop using and oil and become a tree, if all u do is blame diesels for smoke pollution stop being naive and look around! I am sure everyone who condemns hillbilly smokers polluted too and still does. Again I don't do it but upset with all the hypocritical name calling and the high horse diesel clean hybrids haters

That's good tuning I guess. Most diesel I see including mine will blow a little smoke upon cold start, if I'm going 30 then floor it up, or a little during a rev In park

I'm ABSOLUTELY OK with a ban on "rolling coal". I have a 6.4 with a tuner and a stock 6.0. I can hardly get the 6.0 to smoke, even if i tried. The 6.4 will blow a puff of black smoke if I get on the throttle too quickly.. But it's nothing like the guys in the cummins in my area are working with. Black smoke = inefficient burn = wasted power. Everybody has the urge to "share" some smoke with the kid next to us sharing his "music" with us, but guess what.. That's why every diesel engine produced today is CRIPPLED with emission limiting systems that turn a million mile engine into a 150k engine. We have no one to blame but ourselves. If we weren't making a show of ourselves, leaving clouds of black smoke at every stoplight, then maybe we wouldn't have to be dealing with such extreme EGR systems, DEF, etc. Guess what, if everyone was an 80 year old grandma, we probably wouldn't have so many cops monitoring speed limits..

"rolling coal" is like yelling "look at me" while your picking your nose...

It just has to be done occasionally, but why make a big deal of it...

How about it is just plain rude and dangerous. The incident I recently witnessed, the driver following the truck had to immediately back off after leaving a stop light because his sight was obscured and through an intersection to boot. This of course caused the cars behind him to check up just after starting to go. I can certainly see this causing an accident at some point. Yeah, that's frickin cool alright.

Medical research will show 0 count on Marrijuanna, itself deaths. It's now used to save lives. Example is a child that has 60 seizures a day, no meds work and coma must be used to save the child's life, a glicerin bases is used to carry the medicine so smoke is not an issue. Some de in the comma. CBDs dirived from Marriijuanna stop this bring seizure to a couple a day to Zero. Chemo or other treatment sick procedures, are no longer hugging toilets and having to sleep next to them. That stops and creates hunger to allow the patient to take food. People with cerrabellar atrophy and certain types of MS are out of the wheel chair or ditching the walker and cane and can lead happy lives. Four years olds can now start their development as there is 0 of that when the patient has 60 seizures a day.
They have found that it can be Progenerative of brain cells also allowing diseased or damaged brains to allowing functions performed in diseased and gamagaed sections to retire. You don't get violent, you don't get sloppy. The banning was 1930s racism and liquor influenced. It's been sweeping through the very highest forms of medical treatment in the worlds top medical facilities.
Plenty of these documented things are available on the Internet. Top sources, Pick any real medical information statistic sheet. This is consumption of it. Does not take into using poor judgement while having consumed it such as operating equipment. The substance itself. Just like with alcohol, you don't count same. You look at the consumption of the item itself, in medical statistics.
Living soot and solvent victim that would be on disability instead of thriving and being here.
Come from family with law, engineering and medical degrees. There is also at least one MD. on this forum. Stats had been sent but that stat was already known

You choice not to use it in your life recreationally and think is fine.
Fact remains that it has changed the lives of those who use it that are victims and subsequently lifetime patients with debilitating and terminal conditions, having been in this industry, similar industry and others sources, be it inherited organic, environmental or acquired.

So in conclusion; less soot exposure, other pollutants, solvents and safe practices when in that environment= healthier environment, healthier people.

Be safe, It's like somebody said earlier. We get one go at this. How long we are here is up to you and at the same time, us collectively and our future generations.

"rolling coal" is like yelling "look at me" while your picking your nose...
That's hilarious!! Brings to mind that there's a yearly IDI get-together back east put on by a bunch of supposedly mature adults and one of their main events is having some clown video them as they leave the RV park while having a "rolling coal contest". Big-time fun, I just gott'a make that some year-----NOT. By the vids of members, it's not the brightest America has to offer.
