Not sure you will have much luck with the CB. Active logging roads in BC are exclusively on VHF I believe. You can get an inexpensive handheld Baofeng that is programable. In 2015 the channels for resource roads were changed up a bit. Many of them don't seem to post the frequency anymore either, just RR 26 or RR 2. Also program in the LADDs.
