Brake issue?

Hey guys I have yet another issue, my problem is what I believe to be dragging brakes. When driving down the highway my steering wheel is always a quarter turn to the left and have a very minor pull to the right I can let go of the wheel and it for the most part stays straight... but when accelerating from a dead stop its constant correcting and windy days are all over the place. Rainy days seem to somewhat fix the problem to an extent but I always hear a knocking sound from my front right wheel when wet... I've pulled the brakes apart a couple times now and re greased the slide pins and looked them over good I have found no issues. The other day on my way home I got sick of it pulling and decided for some reason to mash the brake pedal real good and for whatever reason almost fixed the problem, steering wheel is almost straight and tracks better down the road but still isn't 100percent... does anyone have any ideas to the true cause of my problem so I can just fix it the right way? Calipers are 3 year old napa remans.

How long have you had the issue? If the slide pins are ok, the calipers are next on the list of suspects. The proportioning valve should only affect front to rear. I've had issues where a master cylinder wouldn't release the rears even though the fronts were ok. I don't think the ABS could be at fault. Hopefully, Jack will see this and give his 2 cents. I'll PM him.

I've had a slight pull for the last 10k miles or so and has recently gotten worse over the last 2k, I just replaced both rear calipers 6 months ago due to the piston not releasing after braking. I checked the front at that time and they appeared ok, last weekend I greased the slide pins again and that was a no go for resolving anything... if you think caliper issues I'll switch no problem. I was testing the waters to see if anyone would say hydraboost or proportioning valve on my all around brake problems
