Brake issues 95 Powerstroke

1995 f350 powerstroke. I am having a problem and Don,t think it's a Hugh one when l press the brakes they or fine but if l let off and press again they or hard have to really stand on them to stop, also notice when switching from defrost to ac the vents don,t change l think it's a vacuum leak but where do l start.

A vacuum leak or the pump is bad.

Locate the vacuum reservoir and get some block off plugs then it is just trial and err if it is a vacuum leak.

You also might want to start a new thread on it instead of piggybacking on a thread about a no start.
