Lifted 2005 F250 Air ride

So my truck has 4.5" suspension lift from Rough country and i was looking at getting some Air bags for it. This is the Air bags that i have been looking at:

Firestone 2071 Ride-Rite Air Bag Helper Springs

I would like to know if adding air bags would mess anything up or if I benefit from having the air bags. A buddy said it wouldn't ride right and mess things up. So please if you have a lift and still running air bags give me your opinion if it is worth it.

Thank you!

I use 5000lb air bags on the rear for towing...if you run or leave much air in them they definitely affect the ride quality over the normal springs and ride stiff. Great help with a heavy trailer though.
