Warm start issue

Hey yíall! I have a 01 excursion with a 7.3 and Iím running into an issue I canít figure out. Truck has 700k miles on it so Iíve been pretty good at maintaining it so far. The problem Iím running into is it starts and runs like a champ but wonít restart once the engine gets warm. Acts like no fuel. Has new IPR new ICP and two new injectors. Oil rails were bled when injectors were installed. The only code Iím getting is a p1316 for intake heater relay. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry about the other post just like this it wonít let me delete it.

You need to watch live data while cranking.
You can try pouring cool water over the ipr solenoid.
I would look into a high pressure oil leak.

Welcome to TDS,,,
First off I'm really impressed that you have been able to get 700K/m out of the Excursion 7.3
And I agree with 79Jasper, to try the cool water trick on the IPR solenoid...
Not withstanding, it still could be a defective IPR that your dealing with...
some body noted that one of theirs failed even after only after only months of use...
If all else fails, you might try posting this on the 7.3 thread above..
I'm sure you'll impress a lot the the boys here with your truck...

There's an outside chance it could be your IDM [Injector Driver Module]
Post this up there, and I'm sure some body will chime in that knows more about than I do

So live data while cranking is icp 225ish psi no more than 330 and ipr 65%. If it ends up being the Idm is the swamps high voltage one worth it? Besides injector o rings where else would a high pressure leak be? With running cool water over the IPR there was no change. It did start after a lot of cranking with engine oil temp of 190. The icp pressure was really slow to build then it hit 600 and fired. Shut it off and icp back to around 225ish psi
