How do I tee off the fuel line?

Installed a Webasto some time ago and I've just been running it from an auxiliary fuel container. It's a 2003 E-450 ambulance. I see that there's a fuel line going to the main fuel pump. It's got some plastic cover around it. What fitting do I need to just connect a tee to it to supply my Webasto? Thanks.

Any chance you can snap a photo or two? Does the capped off line come from the tank?

Sounds like a cool rig.

If the fuel line is rubber, use a common barbed T in the size that matches the hose, or a size larger. Use a common stainless screw clamp.

If the hose is hard nylon, you don't need the clamp. Click these & read the captions.
