Serpentine belt idler and tension pulleys

I just replaced a idler pulley to get rid of an engine vibration. I have a 2013 with 80k on it. Are these common replacement items?

They are not common as in needing replaced on a set schedule but they do include a bearing that can fail and the rubber insert that provides the tension does weaken over time.

I realize this is an older post but i'm getting ready to replace my water pump so since I'm tearing everything off the front of the engine I'm going to replace the tensioner and idler pulleys. Are the two idler pulleys the same size/part #? I have a 2014 if that makes a difference.

There is a fan hub you want to check also. It is an "idler" that the fan clutch screws onto.

Maybe these two photos will help you decide how many there are.

Thank you! That's what I was looking for but didn't see one with the part numbers. This is all preventative, I put a lot of miles on the last 2 years and I just want to make sure I stay ahead of any potential problems.

go to these Ford parts and look up the idlers. The basic part number/category is shown in the diagrams.
