Brown brake dust and aluminum rims

Have the brown brake dust sticking to aluminum rims. Nothing sticks to chrome center cap. Friend has the chrome rims on his 2016 and the dust doesn't stick. I have a 2016 F-350 aluminum rims. What can I do to stop the sticking of the dust. Thanks in advance Don

Doesn't answer me any. Lol
I don't have a 16, don't know what wheels they have.

Some companies make stuff for wheels to attempt to keep brake dust from bonding.

These dusts do not stick with chrome thing so you need some kind of wax that will make the surface smoother.

Just saw this a day or so ago.

No recommendation, but it may be worth checking into.

If you want to permanently solve the problem, replace the pads with ceramic pads. I had this problem on a 2016 within 1500 miles. With the replacements I can go 4 or 5000 and no sign of the nasty stuff. We travel a lot so washing the truck becomes iffy.
