Crappy idle after AFE filter...anyone else???

I don't know if its a coincedence or not, but my truck has not been idling like it used to. It will be fine then it will surge up to around 1000 RPM's. If I tap the brake while the truck is idling it will return to normal...anyone else experience something like this?

Has the weather turned cold up there recently? If it has then this is normal until the truck heats up.

Your truck should do this after about a minute of normal idling if the temps are cool. It's part of the programming. Now, if you aren't having cool weather, then you have a problem. I don't think your AFE has a thing to do with it.
