Looking for IDS scantool

hello from Germany,
looking for a windows based IDS scantool for the 6,0.
The autoenginuity I use canīt do the relative compression test.

Anybody here can tell me where I can order the IDS?

Expect to pay a lot but in your situation it may in fact be the best route: obtaining your own IDS and VCM-2. I am going to share with you the Motorcraft diagnostic link where you can price a VCM and a subscription and purchase if you decide to. You can search the Internet for a VCM-2 which is the data-link hardware you need you need. I strongly urge you to avoid ANY item that is extremely inexpensive especially on EBAY and Amazon because those are counterfeit VCM's made in China. First, they do not work properly. Second, not buying a genuine VCM causes the prices of genuine scan tools from Ford to become higher which screws everyone that wants to purchase them. Don't reward the Chinese thieves! If you can locate a genuine VCM-2 grab it as you will save money.

With that off my chest, here are the useful places to go:

You must have a licensed copy of the software for the tool to work. Period. You con't need the kit with the "Customer Flight Recorder" so save $100 by not choosing that option. And any good tool is worthless without good resources. A subscription to the Motorcraft website will give you access to all of the resources you need such as manuals, wiring diagrams, diagnostics and so on... https://www.motorcraft.com/us/en_us/...resources.html

Good Luck!

this is what a relative compression test with a Bosch tester looks like, I find the IDS more clearly
