Well I can say I deff. did NOT run out of fuel. There was no sputtering, bucking, or any of that running for 2 secs and then a half sec off stuff. I have ran out of fuel before and this was nothing like that. It was just literally driving fine and then alll the sudden it turned off.
The truck would have a least kicked over a lil bit if it had been a fuel issue. I put 2 gals in from the gas station I was at even though it was at 43 Miles left on the Odometer.Thought that the gauge could have been wrong but um um.
I even rolled it down the hill to a flat area and tried a few more times. But no start. Not even kicking over. It was trying to start (starter was turning the motor) but nothing was catching.
It's at the dealership now completely back to stock so well see what they have to say tomorrow afternoon after they get a chance to take a look at it.
It was making a weird noise for the past 3,000 or so miles... only when the rpm range was 1800-2200 rpm though. I had posted a few weeks back about it but was pretty much told to not worry about it and that I was just hearing things. Everyone I knew that listened to it said it sounded pretty much normal... cept the gf. she heard it to.
Don't know if that has anything to do with it. But it may very well. The sound sounded like a normal diesel engine but with a slightly higher pitched top hit. (thats the best I can do to describe it...)

ps.. i can check codes with the SCT... and non were thrown... So I dont know. The last time it was the LPOP I kinda am leaning toward the HPOP because I have not had that serviced yet. Matter of fact I will have them fix that fitting to. As well as all the maintance it needs at 52,500 miles... And I saw collant all over the air filter... So im kinda hopin i some how blew the HG to. So I can get them ARP's in and jack the HP up.
But I dont think that will be the case..
